Canada Lytle started her career in Colorado as a stylist and quickly became one of the youngest District Managers in the Regis Corporation. After six years in the business, she took a different career path starting her own insurance agency in Las Vegas.
In 2010, she decided to sell the agency and move to Rapid City in order to be closer to her family roots. She had an epiphany and identified a niche in the beauty industry calling for clean, quality nail salons that focused on natural nails with properly licensed staff. Thus the concept of A Perfect 10 Nail & Beauty Bar was born.
She developed the interior design and layout of all six salons as well as acted as the general contractor during the build out process. She designed custom-built nail bars at bar height, plush pedicure chairs, and an upbeat atmosphere that clients love. You can come and sip your favorite wine, beer, or sparkling beverage of your choice while you relax and enjoy some pampering.
She has spoken several times for South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity at BHSU inspiring other women entrepreneurs. She also speaks regularly to the school administrator of South Dakota talking about the importance of inspiring kids to peruse their own path and that it may not be college.
